Every active combined Bachelor’s/MD program in the United States — acceptance rates, length, seats per cohort, test score data, and MCAT requirements in one searchable table.
BS/MD programs (sometimes called combined degree, accelerated medical, or guaranteed-admission programs) let high-achieving high school seniors gain conditional acceptance to medical school at the same time they enroll as undergraduates. Most run 7 or 8 years total — shorter than the traditional 4+4 path — and many waive or reduce the MCAT requirement for matriculation.
Acceptance rates are among the most selective in higher education: top programs admit 1–3% of applicants. This database tracks 15 active US programs with the data you need to plan an application.

ConnectPrep advisors have placed students in BS/MD programs at Brown PLME, Rochester REMS, and more. We help you target the right programs, build a standout application, and prepare for interviews.
Acceptance rate and test score data is sourced from each program’s official admissions page and from College Transitions’ 2025 BS/MD program survey. Seat counts come from program websites and Collegiate Gateway’s BS/MD program overview. Acceptance rates marked “Not published” reflect programs where the school does not publicly disclose admit numbers — we mark them so rather than estimate.
SAT/ACT figures are labeled as either min (the program’s stated minimum threshold) or avg (the average of recently admitted students). Programs in this database have been verified active as of May 2026; previously listed programs that have been discontinued (Northwestern HPME, Rice/Baylor Medical Scholars) are intentionally excluded.
