- Tailoring a test-prep program around your needs
In the beginning of the process, you’ll take a diagnostic test so that we can judge the areas on which you need to focus. From here, we will create a study plan to map out your road from day 1 all the way to exam day.
- Teach you the specific strategies you need to succeed
Using the results from your diagnostic test, we create a customized curriculum and identify question types which you need to work on and teach you strategies to help you improve. We teach you how to conquer each section of any test by using our unique test prep methods that simplify and deconstruct the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, or MCAT.
- Assess and track your progress, and make any necessary adjustments
Students generally meet with an instructor one to two times per week for 1 or 1.5 hours. Each week, you will follow what is outlined in your weekly agenda/study plan, helping to keep you motivated and on track to succeed leading up to the real exam. Remember that you’ll receive one-one-one instruction meaning that this study plan is personalized to meet YOUR needs. Therefore, throughout the course, we can always adapt and change our teaching techniques to connect with your learning style. The goal is to stay focused, be efficient, and work on your weaknesses to produce the best test scores.
- Simulated test environments, proctored exams, and use of REAL tests
Once you have had enough time to master the different types of questions, you’ll take a full practice mock test to make sure you can perform in a timed environment. This component of the study process helps you get a feel for the pace of the exam so that you’re not surprised on test day.
